At First There Retrievers, our program will take your retriever from basics through transition, ensuring they have a solid foundation for hunting, hunt tests, or field trials. Our program begins with basic obedience and progresses to advanced marking concepts and cold blinds. We also provide handling for AKC field trials and hunt tests.

We are a veteran/family-owned business. We actively compete and hunt with our personal dogs. We have titled dogs from Junior Hunter to Master hunter in AKC Hunt Tests, Hunting Retriever Champion in UKC Hunt Tests, and QA2 in AKC Field Trials.
